Connect your Klaviyo account
How to install mapiyo, what it can access, and how long the first sync takes.
mapiyo connects to Klaviyo with read-only access. Setup takes about a minute.
Connect
- Go to mapiyo.app and click Connect Klaviyo.
- Sign in to Klaviyo if asked, and choose the account to connect. You need to be an Owner, Admin or Manager on that account.
- Review the permissions and click Allow. mapiyo asks only to read Accounts, Profiles, Lists and Segments.
- You'll land on your dashboard while the first sync runs.
While mapiyo is in Klaviyo's app review, Klaviyo shows a notice that the app hasn't been reviewed yet. You can still continue.
How long the first sync takes
mapiyo reads each profile's location fields, created date and email consent. An account with 15,000 profiles takes about a minute, and 500,000 profiles takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes. You can close the page; the sync keeps running and the dashboard fills in when it's done.
Connecting with a private API key instead
If you'd rather not use the Connect button, create a Read-only private key in Klaviyo under Settings → Account → API keys and paste it into the box on the home page.
Connecting more than one account
Each Klaviyo account is connected separately. To switch, sign out from the dashboard and connect the other account.
